Any current year National Merit Scholar Finalist or Semifinalist who is eligible for admission to Stony Brook University as a freshman for the following fall semester will be considered for a scholarship of $3,000 a year for four consecutive years. National Merit Scholar Finalists may qualify for an additional $2,000 award if Stony Brook University is listed as their top choice school with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
